The Product team is the bridge between users (internal and external) and the Tech team. Our mandate is to ensure that MaxAB is building the most useful technology at the highest quality and steepest velocity.

We study our users, understand their pain points and opportunities. We understand MaxAB’s strategy: where we want to be. Projects that generate opportunity and reduce pain points in line with Maxab’s form the backlog. The prioritized backlog is the roadmap for the coming period.




Once the project priorities are clear, the Product team gets to work. We study the user:

  • Identify what needs to be built
  • Clearly document and communicate the requirements
  • Work with the Tech team on building it
  • Work with Business counterparts on preparing the Go-to-market strategy
  • Once live, we ensure:
    • Product launch is smooth
    • Go-to-market is executed upon
    • Support with the resolution of any bugs

In achieving the above, all Product team verticals collaborate.

Responsibilities:

You will be tasked with preparing requirements for the projects on our roadmap. Your day-to-day will, therefore, involve:

  • Managing project timelines from our roadmap
  • Understanding all of our product stack’s features and capabilities
  • Aligning product team and relevant stakeholders on any impact of timelines
  • Project managing the launch and go-to-market execution
  • Acquiring basic skills in analytics and feature write ups
  • Establishing rapport and empathy with our customers
  • Working closely with Product Owners to create stories and ingest it into (Tech team) sprints
  • Monitoring impact of feature and running root cause analysis (with relevant stakeholders) in case of bugs / unexpected issues


What we look for:

Education

Bachelor's degree in a business related or STEM field

Experience

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor in a business related or STEM field

Technical or specific skills

  • Fluent written and spoken Arabic and English
  • Proficient with Google Docs, Sheets and Slides
  • Knowledge of SQL or at least an ability to quickly learn it
  • Understanding of Agile and Scrum is a plus, but not required
