Job Summary:

As a People Ops Senior Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring employees records are complying with labor and insurance laws as well as MaxAB internal policy.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a variety of employment files and records
  • Maintain and update employee records consisting of benefit records, employment history records and existing employment status
  • Processes new employees, employee terminations, leaves of absence, and other personnel actions, using appropriate forms
  • Filing form 1, 2 and 6
  • Maintains confidential examination and applicant files
  • Explains department personnel policies and benefits to new employees
  • Assists in statement of employment or notice of appointment contracts
  • Act as mentor for the department new hires when needed

Requirements:

● Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field (law and human resources are a plus)
  • 2 - 5 years of relevant experience in personnel
  • Excellent knowledge of labor law
  • Very good command of the English language
