Job summary:

Since its creation, Maxab has experienced strong growth in the Moroccan market.

We are currently looking for a Head of Commercial to join the management team.

Its main mission is to build lasting relationships with our suppliers to develop the catalog and offer merchants the best products.

He will define commercial strategies (Prices and Margins) based on customer data in order to propose growth plans to suppliers.

He will also be in charge of a team of sales managers and will oversee the structuring of the sales, recruitment and training department.

Job Responsibilities:

Define and execute the commercial strategy,
Define category mix objectives to increase turnover and margin.
Forge lasting partnerships with suppliers to provide them with relevant and profitable marketing solutions.
Set up a Selling/Buying price model by SKU.
Sourcing process,
Develop an efficient process to accelerate and simplify the procurement process with suppliers,
Coordinate internal process with Planning & Stock teams to order and receive quantities as well as manage stock levels in line with company strategy
Structure, Recruitment and Training
Define the optimal structure of the commercial team with all the categories in need and the support roles,
Oversee the development of key skills: Negotiations, Value Proposition and Quantitative Analysis


- Bac+5 in Commerce / International trade, Sales Techniques or Logistics.
- 8 to 10 years of experience in business development
- Fluent communication in French & English & Arabic.
- Negotiation Skills
- Process orientation and attention to detail.
-Experience in the development of traditional trade (Wholesalers and Distributors)
-High analytical skills to manage prices, margins, volumes and different business scenarios.
