Performance Analyst Job Description:
We are looking for an Associate Performance Analyst who will be involved in the assessment of Operations departments performance and evaluating initiatives done to reach business goals.
Increasing revenues and maximizing profitability by improving operational efficiency. As a performance analyst, your job duties include evaluating current business practices and the way of improvement by reviewing the operational and financial performance and KPIs.
- The analyst would be requested to perform in-depth analysis for the full OPS KPIs and provide the team with valuable insights to be used in driving business decisions.
- Analysis will be done on many dimensions on a daily basis to cover all sides of the business. The most important part about the role involves creating business cases and stories to aid stakeholders in taking better data-driven decisions.
Performance Analyst Responsibilities:
- Identify areas of improvements and concerns in business operational areas and provide appropriate action plans. Develop and implement performance metrics to improve business operational efficiency.
- Analyze root causes of business problems and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain documentation for problem identification, definition and solving procedures.
- Provide optimal business solutions to achieve operational and financial goals.
- Review and recommend improvements to existing business programs.
- Suggest new techniques and technologies to meet or exceed business goals.
- Identify skill gaps and provide appropriate training to resources.
- Provide direction and support to business teams whenever required.
- Develop business presentations for management and stakeholders as needed.
- Monitor business performances regularly and generate performance reports to management.
- Develop, update and enforce business policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with others from diverse backgrounds in order to identify problems and find solutions.
- Ad-hoc analyses based on business need, assessing certain angles of the business to a deeper level.
- Submit one full category analysis per day with insights covering all sides of category performance.
- Insights and analysis should be presented in the form of slides to respective teams.
- Keep detailed records, generate reports, and develop presentations to help management understand the logistics perspective.
- It also involves comparing intended outcomes with actual outcomes and adapting the approach and framework appropriately and in line with any Changes.
Performance Analyst Requirements:
- A degree in Business Management, Logistics, Statistics, Computer Science or a related field.
- A friendly professional demeanor and ability to excel in a team oriented environment.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite especially Excel; Basic VB knowledge preferred.
- Strong analytical and detail-oriented aptitude; a high degree of accuracy is required.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to manage time effectively, set priorities and meet deadlines.
- Ability to learn and adapt to change.
- SQL is a Must.
- Python, R, Tableau as a Plus.
