The Accounting Manager is a key role in plant finance, Responsible for all aspects of accounting internal controls and assists with cash flow management. The position works closely with other finance sub-functions as well as other departments and vendors to ensure smooth and coordinated daily business operations and proper accounting treatments.


  • Manage the process of end-month closing (GL, Book registration, etc..) to ensure the financial data accuracy reported on systems.
  • Act as the focal point with internal and external auditors.
  • Take the responsibility of control over the following:
    1- Accounts payable,
    2- Accounts receivable
    3- Cash receipts.
    4- General ledger.
    5- Capital asset reconciliations, etc.
  • Ensure compliance with EAS (Egyptian accounting standards).
  • Oversee daily accounting operations and oversee overall accounting strategy.
  • Ensure data accuracy of the financial records and reports.
  • Prepare internal/external audit requirements and their reconciliations.
  • Oversee accounts payable registering and settling in a timely manner to make sure from conformity with company`s policies and procedures as well as payment terms.
  • Ensuring timely payments to vendors and expenses.
  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
  • Monitor and enforce proper accounting methods and principles.
  • Ensure compliance with the company’s standards.
  • Follow up accounting team (developing, encouraging, and KPIs setting)
  • Monitor and analyze the accounting data to locate its weakness and strength.

What we look for:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance.
  • 8-10 years of experience in a related field
  • Strong command over Microsoft Office and ERP system (Odoo preferable).
  • Retail industry background is preferred
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Fluency in English
