Job Summary:

The Statistician & QC Lead will be responsible for determining ideal methods for data collection, developing quality control procedures and analyzing statistical information.

Responsibilities:

  • Referring to previous instances and findings to determine the ideal method for gathering data.
  • Researching problems and determining the data required to answer specific questions and problems.
  • Training assistants and other members of the team how to properly organize findings and read data collected.
  • Preparing detailed reports for management and other departments by analyzing and interpreting data.
  • Defining and utilizing statistical methods to solve industry-specific problems in varying fields, such as economics.
  • Comparing and analyzing provided statistical information to identify patterns, relationships and problems.
  • Applying sampling techniques to effectively determine and define ideal categories to be questioned.
  • Developing quality control procedures to make sure that delivered data is accurate and reliable.


What we look for:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics or a relevant field.
  • +5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Strong math and analytical skills.
  • Ability to compile and organize statistical information retrieved and present findings to the management.
  • Excellent multitasking skills and task management strategies.
  • Proficiency in statistical packages such as (ex. SPSS/E-view/STATA).
  • Retail audit experience is preferred.
